Ingredients
- 1 ham hock
- 1 yellow onion, thin sliced
- 6 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 pinch oregano, dried
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 c pinto beans, drained
- 5 c chicken stock
- Sea Salt
- Black Pepper
Directions
- Place all ingredients into the pressure cooker.
- Close and lock the lid. Set the pressure cooker to "soup", adjust the time for 45 minutes and press "start/stop".
- When done, allow the pressure cooker to naturally release.
- Before opening the lid, do a quick release to ensure all pressure has been released and it is safe to open. Carefully open the lid, taste the soup, and add salt and pepper, if needed.
- Ladle into serving bowls and enjoy.
