Nuwave® PIC Pro Chef

With an expansive temperature range, adjustable in precise 5-degree increments, the Nuwave® PIC Pro Chef can cook as low as 100°F and as high as 575°F. The PIC Pro Chef features an expanded 8-inch induction heating area for added cooking versatility along with an NSF-certified cooking surface, which means it means industry durability standards so you can cook with confidence knowing the glass surface won’t break, crack or shatter. By generating heat directly in the cookware itself, the PIC greatly reduces the risk of fires and accidental burns making it safer than conventional cooktops. With a lightweight, compact design, you can take the PIC virtually anywhere. It even features adjustable wattage, letting you choose from 900, 1500 or the default 1800.

12-piece Duralon Blue Cookware Set

Available in 13 stylish colors, this non-stick cookware set is the perfect complement to the Nuwave PIC. Made with our 10th generation of non-stick coating, Duralon Blue natural ceramic coating is free from harmful chemicals like PTFE and PFOA so it won’t emit toxic gas or forever chemicals, even at high temperatures. It’s scratch-resistant and won’t chip or discolor while resisting abrasions and corrosion, remaining non-stick for longer.

The cookware is made with a forged aluminum core which is durable, lightweight and distributes heat evenly. It includes a stainless steel plate on the bottom to make it induction-ready while also being compatible with standard stovetops. The cookware is even oven-safe up to 500°F! This set even includes premium tempered glass lids which are dishwasher and oven-safe and include a small ventilation opening to ensure steam can be released while you cook.

There is NOTHING I can't cook

I have a Nuwave PIC Pro and love it! I live in a retirement community and have a VERY tiny kitchen with no stove However with my Nuwave PIC Pro I can literally cook anything. How/Why? Because it has a superb temperature range which goes from 100°F to 575°F, adjustable in 5°F increments. Thus I can melt chocolate. When deep frying it's CRITICAL to maintain the exact temperature - difficult with a gas stove and impossible with an electric. I previously owned a PIC but sold it when I moved to an apartment with a stove. I wish I'd have kept it as I liked it much better than the electric stove the apartment provided. I can think of a number of folks who could use a NuWave Portable Induction Cooker. College students would love it to cook in their dorm room, folks who own a recreational vehicle would like the NuWave, retired people who are downsizing but still want to be able to cook, people who entertain frequently and could use an extra burner when cooking for a large group, people who love to cook but are stuck with an electric stove with very limited heat settings, and young people just starting out who move to an apartment without a stove but want to be able to cook, but don't want to or cannot afford to purchase a stove. I'm not sure how they find the electricity but tailgaters would love a PIC. In short, almost anyone who wants to cook, could use and would enjoy having a NuWave PIC. If you're thinking about getting a portable induction cooker, get a NuWave and get the model with the 8" heating coil and the ability to control temperatures in 5°F increments instead of 10°F increments. It's only a few dollars more and worth it I think - especially when comparing it to an electric stove. And if you plan to do a lot of cooking you might consider the model with two burners. I guess you can tell I love my Nuwave. I only wish I'd discovered it when I was 20 instead of 80. :-)

When I am cooking a large meal and I have to have two burners in action this comes in handy.

Nuwave with 9in pan

Always love Nuwave. We choose our Nuwave over our oven. Our 7 yr old grandson has a cook off with us every other week end.
He will love our new smaller version to make perfect eggs !

This new PIC double induction cooktop is truly an upgrade from our 2 previous PIC single induction cooktops. We pretty much cook everything on this and it has more features than our original PIC, which we also loved. Plus, it is light weight on doesn't turn on when you plug it in because it has a separate on/off switch so we can keep it plugged in, unlike the original which had to be constantly plugged in and unplugged. If you liked the original single PIC's, you'll really enjoy this one!
